Intrinsic Perennial Gardens has announced the second introduction in its cocktail series of geum: 'Tequila Sunrise.' 'Tequila Sunrise' is a hybrid with yellow, bicolor flowers and grenadine-colored tips. The single and semi-double flowers start blooming in May and continue for three to four weeks.

The short, clumping plants reach 10 inches tall and wide and have burgundy red stems reaching 18-plus inches in height. They prefer a most to well-drained soil in full sun and are hardy in Zones 4-9.
