The University of California, Davis has added a pest management database to its agriculture and natural resources Web site that lists hundreds of pests and includes thousands of photos. The Web site can be accessed at http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/menu.homegarden.html.

Users will find pest management suggestions specific to many host plants, including more than 30 common garden flowers and 70 ornamental trees and shrubs. Users can select ornamental plants for lists of common pests that affect them, and review pages with identification and management information.

For more information on the site, contact Stephanie Klunk at sjklunk@ucdavis.edu.
