With drought, regulations, urbanization and competing demands decreasing available irrigation water, the Ellison Chair in International Floriculture announces a new three-part webinar series that focuses on water quality, conservation, and management.
The first water-related webinar will be presented at 2 p.m. (CDT) on August 17. It will be led by Dr. Paul Fisher, associate professor and extension specialist at the University of Florida. The topic will be: "What's living in your water? Water quality and treatment for pathogens and algae."
Fisher also serves as the lead for the Water Education Alliance for Horticulture.
