N.G. Heimos, Millstadt Hosting Poinsettia Trials
The open houses will feature more than 100 poinsettia varieties November 18-19 this year.
N.G. Heimos Greenhouses and Millstadt Young Plants, in Millstadt, Ill., will be hosting an open house on Thursday, Nov. 18 and Friday, Nov. 19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments can be made.
This open house will be show comparison trials of more than 100 poinsettia varieties. In addition the growers are conducting a PGR trial and OHP chemical trial. The trial features poinsettias from Syngenta, Ecke, Dummen and Ball/Selecta.
Representatives from each company will attend to answer questions about their breeding. Refreshments will be provided.
