7 Newbies Growing Southern Living Plant Collection

Seven wholesale operations are now licensed to grow varieties in the Southern Living Plant Collection. They are:

- Carolina Nurseries (South Carolina)
- Country Pines Nursery (Louisiana)
- Parson's Nursery (South Carolina)
- Magnolia Gardens Nursery (Texas)
- Harrell's Nursery (Florida)
- Greenforest Nursery (Mississippi)
- Transplant Nursery (Georgia)

"We're excited about the addition of these quality growing partners and the expanded distribution it provides," says Kip McConnell, director of Plant Development Services, Inc. "More and more gardeners across the Southeast will have a chance to enjoy the superior offerings of the Southern Living Plant Collection this spring."

Introduced in 2008, the Southern Living Plant Collection provides consumers plants designed to solve specific landscape challenges and to excel in Southern gardens. Each plant in the collection is the result of plant evaluations, plant trials and consumer research. The collection is available through retail garden centers across the Southern United States.
