Sungelonia Angelonias From The Suntory Collection

July 26, 2011

Sungelonia angelonias in Blue, Deep Pink and White are new to the Suntory collection. Advantages include uniformity throughout the series and a compact form with dense foliage and prolific flowering. While angelonias are known to get floppy, Sungelonias have a compact, upright habit, reaching a height of 12 to 15 inches and a spread of 8 to 12 inches. Crop times are six to seven weeks for a 4-inch pot from a liner with one pinch, seven to nine weeks for a 6-inch pot with one or two liners and one pinch, and 10 to 12 weeks for a 10-inch pot with three liners and two pinches.
