Hillister Farms Purchases Timberline Nursery's Operating Assets
With Keith Formway as president and operating manager, Hillister Farms will continue to run the business under the Timberline name.
Hillister Farms, LLC has signed an agreement to purchase the operating assets of Timberline Nursery, Inc. Hillister Farms will continue to operate the business under the Timberline name and plans to close the deal by July 2, 2012.
Keith Formway will be the president and operating manager of Hillister Farms. Formway has 31 years in the nursery business as a department head, store manager and district manager at Wolfe Nursery. He also spent numerous years on the retail side of the business before joining Powell Plant Farms, where he served as merchandising manager, account manager and, eventually, sales manager.
With Formway in his new position, Hillister Farms plans to continue to operate Timberline as a grower of high-quality and premium annuals while aggressively pursuing growth opportunities.
