Lowering costs and providing the correct levels of light to crops are necessary concerns for any grower. A new LED lighting solution that addresses both of these concerns is now on the market. By teaming up with LumiGrow, Inc., a leader in smart horticultural lighting, Growers Supply now offers innovative LED grow lights for greenhouses and controlled environment agriculture. With the LumiGrow Pro 325 and 650 Horticultural Lights, growers will reduce energy costs by up to 70 percent and boost yields by providing the exact light levels and spectra that plants need.

“With the LumiGrow Pro series, growers no longer need to choose between boosting yields and controlling operating costs,” says LumiGrow CEO Kevin Wells. “The LumiGrow Pro series delivers the best of both worlds: tremendous power and energy efficiency unrivaled by any other light.”

LumiGrow Pro series lights have a 50,000 hour rating without degradation, lasting up to 10 times longer than high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps. Further savings are achieved because these fixtures feature advanced thermal management, running 70 percent cooler than HID lamps and reducing greenhouse cooling requirements. They are ideal for any production setting, including commercial vegetable and flower production, hydroponic greenhouses, indoor farms and research facilities.

LumiGrow Pro 325
• Engineered for commercial greenhouses and controlled environment agriculture environments

• Uses 70 percent less energy than a 1,000 W HID light

• Typical energy consumption: 330 W

• Voltage: 88 to 264 V AC (auto-switching)

LumiGrow Pro 650
• Designed for growers and scientists who require PAR output greater than that of 1,000 W HID lights

• Uses 40 percent less energy than a 1,000 W HID light

• Typical energy consumption: 650 W

• Voltage: 85 to 264 V AC (auto-switching)

The LumiGrow Pro series is available in two models. Pro 325, with a typical energy consumption of 325 watts, is designed for commercial greenhouses and controlled environment agriculture, and will provide growers with 70 percent energy savings compared to a 1,000-watt HID light. For growers and scientists who require a higher PAR output, the Pro 650 typically uses 650 watts and reduces energy costs by 40 percent versus a 1,000-watt HID light. The LumiGrow Pro 650 doubles the red and blue photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) output of 1,000-watt HID fixtures, and the LumiGrow Pro 325 achieves parity with 1,000-watt HID lights.

Both fixtures feature individually adjustable red, white and blue balance knobs which allow precise three-channel spectral control. A Smart Volt auto-switching and regulating power supply adjusts to the appropriate voltage for international use. LumiGrow Pro fixtures are RoHS compliant, with no harmful mercury or lead in any components.

Growers Supply offers interest-free financing for up to five years on LED lighting purchases, subject to approval. Upgrade to the most advanced lighting systems in the industry and achieve better crop production and lower operating costs.

Pilot project includes a fully climate ontrolled environment organic greenhouse (250 sq. feet with 8.2" height) to grow tomatoes cucumbers and peppers as well as lettuce herbs radishes etc. Ready to install lighting system and want LED set up possibly a Lumigrow system. South and East walls are low e thermeal glass slider doors and windows full length to suppliment LED light source. Please advise and provide lighting plan.
