Terra Nova Nurseries announces a new 2012 Sneak Peek variety introduction for growers called Coreopsis ‘Bengal Tiger.’
C. ‘Bengal Tiger’ has glowing red and gold flowers that bloom during the summertime. It has a clean, manicured habit and feathery, mildew-resistant foliage. This hardy, verticillata-bred new introduction is a constant performer for the garden and is ideal for giving container combinations, mixed beds and borders brilliant color. ‘Bengal Tiger’ has a fast growth rate and requires full sun for optimal performance. The average size includes 24 inches wide, 20 inches high and a 22-inch flower height. It grows well in USDA Zones 6 to 9.
