Friends and family of Marc Cathey, the well-known researcher and emeritus president of the American Horticultural Society who died early last month, will celebrate his life this Saturday at a service in Washington, D.C.

The Industry and gardening public has lost a truly great man, his contribution as a scientist and a human-being was enormous and those of us, who where fortunate enough to know him as a friend will surely miss him.
