The OFA Constitution & Bylaws revisions process was officially put to bed earlier this month, when members adopted the revisions by a large margin despite the cries of past association presidents to vote "no." The revisions passed by a 69 percent margin (331-148), and they'll become effective Jan. 1.

Past presidents were mainly upset about a procedural error and expressed concerns about the executive director/CEO's role and that OFA was drifting away from its Ohio roots. For a recap on the family feud, click here.

"Thanks to everyone that expressed their opinion on this matter," OFA wrote in a recent e-bulletin. "Debate and diversity of opinion is healthy, and this proposal created much. All of us were overwhelmed by the engagement of our members."
