The third edition of Allan Armitage’s “Herbaceous Perennial Plants: A Treatise on their Identification, Culture, and Garden Attributes” is now available with dozens of new genera, up-to-date changes in taxonomy and more than 1,200 pages.

The first edition of Armitage’s book was designated as one of the best 75 books written in the last 75 years by the American Horticulture Society. The third edition is filled with information on the joy of gardening, much like the first, but it has been updated with Armitage’s new travels, teachings and trialing experiences.
