Kraft Buys Meristem Facility

Florida foliage grower Kraft Gardens of Fort Pierce has purchased an 11-acre growing facility in Homestead that belonged to Meristem Nursery, which closed its doors last year. Meristem was known for Dracaena arborea and Kraft has acquired all remaining inventory. “We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to utilize the growing facility and acquire the large inventory of such a great plant like arborea,” says Kevin Kraft, president of Kraft Gardens.

Kraft Gardens was featured on our January cover. In addition to tropical foliage for interiors, Kraft has diversified into spring garden lines, including banana, cordyline, crotons and ornamental grasses. For more information, visit http://www.kraftgardens.com.
