Park seed Co. is the newest sponsor of the National Gardening Association’s (NGA) GROW campaign. GROW is a year-round promotional campaign that raises awareness for gardening and demonstrates its importance to individuals, schools and communities.
In addition to its role in the GROW campaign, Park Seed is sponsoring three NGA newsletters: the highly regarded Kids Garden News e-newsletter, as well as two new electronic publications. Moss In The City is devoted to urban gardening and Edible Landscaping With Charlie Nardozzi is a compendium of information about growing fruits, herbs and vegetables in the landscape.
Park Seed is a privately held mail-order gardening business based in Greenwood, S.C. The company specializes in garden seeds, offering more than 1,100 varieties for flower, vegetable and herb seeds, plus a large selection of bulbs, live plants and gardening accessories. In addition to the core Park Seed retail brand, Park seed owns Wayside Gardens, Park Seed Wholesale and Park’s Landscapes. The most recent acquisition is Jackson & Perkins.
