Plant Date: late April through mid May
Weather Conditions: The summer of 2007 began as though it were going to be a pleasant, mild season. June and July gave of regular rainfalls and temperatures mostly in the mid to upper 80’sF. Once August arrived, however, we began to bake in the 90’s and 100’s F for the entire month. Rainfall during this time was virtually non-existent. Finally, at the very end of August, we received hints of relief from our baking.
