Harold Gray was my original source of all information about greenhouses. His memory and knowledge about all things pertaining to greenhouses was prodigious. We have some older L&B greenhouses at Cal Poly, and he was a big help to me when I first arrived here and wanted to know everything about these greenhouses. There is an very old greenhouse at Hearst Castle, and he was very helpful to me in trying to inform them about their structure, heating system, etc. I plan full “blame” on Harold for my abiding interest in all things about greenhouse structures and their operation. He always remembered who I was and was happy to talk to me and answer all my questions. I will miss him.
