Feeling The Economic Pinch

A pair of small grower-retailers in Indiana are feeling the effects of the economy, as reported in a Ball State Daily News story Sunday.

The two growers the Daily News featured were Liggett’s Greenhouse and Floral Shop in Albany and Northside Greenhouse in Hartford City. High heating costs have been tough on Liggett’s, and Northside has struggled to sell items it historically grows.
