Giving Tuesday On December 1 Is An Opportunity For The Industry To Make Charitable Tax-Deductible Donations

Giving TuesdayThe American Floral Endowment (AFE) is encouraging industry members to get involved in Giving Tuesday, a global day of philanthropy.

As the holiday season approaches and companies and individuals begin to think about their options for year-end charitable giving, AFE is encouraging supporters to donate to AFE to help continue providing benefits for the entire floral industry. GivingTuesday is a great opportunity to participate in the generous spirit of the holiday season by making a tax-deductible year-end donation.

“Any amount, small or large, makes a difference,” says AFE Executive Director Debi Aker. “Our generous donors who have contributed gifts throughout the years are the reason we are able to continue to fund significant programs that advance our industry.”

Aker says every donation strengthens AFE’s efforts to fund research for critical industry issues, provide scholarships, internships, and grants for students, and conduct ground-breaking consumer and scientific studies with findings available for free to industry members.

Giving Tuesday is on December 1, but year-end contributions can be made at any time until December 31 at Endowment.org/donate.
