“Emergent: A Group for Growing Professionals” will once again be hosting its Emergent Networking Event at MANTS in Baltimore, MD. The event will be held Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. following the close of the first day of the MANTS tradeshow. It will take place on the top floor of Pratt Street Ale House.
Complimentary food and drinks will be available at this networking social. Green industry sponsors and contributors will be recognized during the event.
The Emergent Networking Event is free and open to all horticulture professionals.
Emergent: A Group for Growing Professionals was formed in 2012. In the past five years, membership has risen to more than 3,300 industry members. The organization is based on Facebook and encourages an open dialogue and networking of diverse green industry professionals ranging in age, experience level, and expertise.
Additional funds raised will be donated to the Horticultural Research Institute on behalf of Emergent and the sponsor businesses. An American Hort/HRI reception will be held on Thursday, Jan. 11 in the Pratt Registration Lobby West.
