Whole Foods Reaps Wild Oats

Whole Foods Market just purchased competitor Wild Oats Markets for $565 million, adding 110 stores to Whole Foods. Both are natural-foods grocers that appeal to a trendier, upscale, enlightened and environmentally conscious clientele.
