Growers Speak On Sustainability

Three growers will discuss “The State Of Sustainability” on a panel moderated by our Group Editor Richard Jones on Feb. 11 during American Nursery & Landscape Association’s (ANLA) Management Clinic in Louisville, Ky.

The panelists include:
John Bonner, general manager, Eagle Creek Wholesale in Ohio
Charlie Cole, general manager, Cole Gardens in New Hampshire
Evan Elenbass, president, Walters Gardens in Michigan

While Walters Gardens is a wholesale perennial operation, Eagle Creek is both a wholesale and retail grower and Cole Gardens is the retail division of D.S. Cole Growers. These panelists will provide a first-hand account of how they have been incorporating sustainability into their operations.

Come here about their successes, challenges and opinions on where we are as an industry, and their recommendations on how you can make sustainability a responsible and profitable segment of your own business.
