Northwest Horticulture Creates New Product Department

Northwest Horticulture, one of the country’s largest producers of perennials, landscape roses, groundcovers, ornamental grasses and hostas, has realigned internal resources to staff a new products department.

Blair Hoey, who currently has responsibilities as the Western regional sales manager for the grower division of the company, will also have responsibilities heading the new products department. This department will be evaluating new genetics for all three divisions of Northwest Horticulture.

“Northwest Horticulture has always been actively trialing new and different plant material from around the world, but we have not structured a department with specific criteria and goals for plant and product evaluations,” says Bruce Gibson, CEO. “The new product department will do just that, plus provide additional technical and production-related information relevant for our own internal production along with our network of national customers.”
