Rocket Farms Receives Minority Business Enterprise Certification

Top 100 Grower Rocket Farms has been awarded the Minority Business Enterprise certification by the Northern California Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC). To receive certification from the NCMSDC, a company must be 51 percent ethnic-minority owned, operated and controlled by a U.S. citizen.
 
Owners Sergio Silva and Charles Kosmont have been with Rocket Farms since its parent company’s inception in 1982. They currently serve as the company’s president and CEO, respectively.

Rocket Farms ranks fourth on our Top 100 Growers List with 5.5 million square feet of greenhouse production space, including 40 acres of 100 percent organic-certified production. Rocket Farms produces four central product lines: orchids, culinary herbs, vegetable plants and poinsettias.
