Registration is now open for the educational tour of North Carolina farms and markets. The tour will begin in the Charlotte, N.C. area, then make its way to Asheville, N.C., then back to Charlotte Douglas Airport

The theme for this year’s event is “Healthy Plants, Healthy You!,” and is meant to explore the ways plant life can impact human health and wellness.

According to the AAS website, attendees will see high-tech research, as well as diverse, small farms reminiscent of the early 1900s. A bonus experience is the beautiful scenery, delicious food (aka “Foodtopia”) and varied breweries (aka “Brewtopia”) in and around Asheville.
