Fine Americas, Inc. Announces “Plant Manager of the Year” Contest

Fine Americas, Inc.Fine Americas, Inc., a leading manufacturer and marketer of plant growth regulators (PGRs) for the greenhouse ornamental industry, is presenting a new “Plant Manager of the Year” contest for commercial greenhouse growers. The program will award monthly cash prizes of $100 from August 2014 through July 2015, followed by a grand prize of $5,000 for the Plant Manager of the Year.

“The purpose of the Plant Manager of the Year program is to recognize and reward growers who use Fine plant growth regulators (PGRs) to bring out the best in their ornamental crops,” says Greg Johnson, president of Fine Americas. “PGRs play an increasingly important role in helping growers produce more marketable plants with uniform height, radius, shape, color and structure. So it only seems fitting to reward those growers who use our PGRs to meet the high standards set by retailers and consumers.”

Johnson added that the new program ties in perfectly with the company’s current “Plant Manager” ad campaign.

“We’ve positioned our PGRs as ‘plant managers’ for their ability to help produce crops of uniform size, shape and color,” Johnson says. “But the real plant managers are the outstanding growers who use them.”
