Joe BischoffIf you weren’t able to attend the Saturday, July 12 Cultivate’14 session on neonicotinoids and pollinators, “Neonicotinoids: Cutting Through The Clutter,” you can now watch it on Greenhouse Grower’s YouTube Channel.

Presented by Dr. Joe Bischoff, AmericanHort’s regulatory and legislative affairs director, the session streamed live via YouTube during Cultivate’14. Bischoff presented the facts, as research has demonstrated them, surrounding the debate over neonicotinoids and whether or not they affect pollinators. He addressed how growers, landscapers and retailers can use neonicotinoids effectively and responsibly with minimal, non-target effects.

To learn more about neonicotinoids and how AmericanHort is rallying the industry to collect funding for research and protect polllinator health through the Bee And Pollinator Stewardship Initative, an effort in partnership with the Society of American Florists, the American Floral Endowment and the Horticultural Research Institute, visit the AmericanHort Knowledge Center.

Nice to see Joe’s information presented at Cultivate 14. Is there a way to share the powerpoint slide show as that was extremely impactful and so easy to understand?
