Wising Up With Water

Our days of using drinkable water in the landscape are probably numbered. To address the issue, industry leaders will gather Feb. 27 for the Green Matters Symposium, a one-day event in Wheaton, Md., to discuss water-wise landscapes.

Topics of the event, which will take place at Brookside Gardens from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., include effective and efficient irrigation methods, designing with low water-use plants, rain gardens and the future of water use-regulations in the landscape.
