BioSafe Offers SaniDate 5.0 For Greenhouse Cleaning

Product Shot-SaniDate 5 0BioSafe Systems has a solution for greenhouse growers looking for a solid food safety plan as they increase edible production.

BioSafe Systems has provided food safety solutions from growing to packing for the past 15 years, with products like SaniDate 5.0 Disinfectant/Sanitizer.

New to the greenhouse industry, SaniDate 5.0 keeps food contact and non-food contact surfaces free from human health pathogens, as well as plant pathogens.

Effective against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria, Klebsiella pneumoniae and other bacteria and molds, SaniDate 5.0 is a peroxycompound chemistry that works quickly to remove pathogens and their spores from food and non-food contact surfaces and equipment.

SaniDate 5.0 doesn’t leave harmful residues and no rinse is required, therefore lowering costs for labor. Also, this chlorine alternative has no disinfection byproducts. SaniDate 5.0 Disinfectant/Sanitizer is EPA registered, OMRI listed for organic production and CRC Kosher Certified.

“It only makes sense to bring our food safety expertise to the greenhouse industry. SaniDate 5.0 helps meet the ongoing requirements of HACCP, Food Safety Modernization Act and other food safety standards,” says Jeff Kline, ornamental sales manager for BioSafe Systems. “Not only will it become a major product for those growing edibles, but its superior formulation and manufacturing standards will help general greenhouse sanitation.”
