Shannon Ortigosa
Ortigosa is the new territory manager for Southeastern Florida. A former co-owner and operator of wholesale nursery Mario & Son, Inc. in Homestead, Fla., Ortigosa brings the perspective of a professional grower to her new position with Scotts.

Robbie Abillama
Abillama has taken over territory manager duties for Scotts Professional’s newly created sales region of East, South and Central Texas. Abillama comes to Scotts with a degree in plant science and agronomy and a great deal of practical experience in the horticulture industry, including time spent as a professional grower.

Fluent in three languages, Abillama has worked in fertilizer sales with Harrell’s, Agrivert and Tri-Pro, Inc, and has also served as vice president of operations for TreeTown USA.

Sharon Gravitt-Warschauer
Gravitt-Warschauer is Scotts Professional’s new territory manager for the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Gravitt-Warschauer began her career as a grower and has more than 27 years experience in horticultural company management, sales and marketing. She comes to Scotts from her former position as a regional sales manager for EuroAmerican Propagators/Proven Winners.

A graduate of Purdue University, Gravitt-Warschauer holds a bachelor degree in agriculture with a dual major in horticulture and agronomy.

Ortigosa and Gravitt-Warschauer will report to Craig Whatley, regional business manager for Scotts Professional’s Eastern Region, while Abillama will report to Joe Micco, regional business manager for the Western Region.

“I’m very excited to begin working with both Shannon and Sharon,” Whatley says. “Their combined knowledge of the professional horticulture industry, proven selling techniques and ability to deal with horticultural challenges make them very valuable additions to our team in the Eastern Region.”

Adds Mico: “Robbie’s horticulture experience and his drive to exceed customer expectations makes him an excellent fit for our needs in the Western Region. He will be instrumental in helping growers in Eastern Texas find the solutions they need for better plants and more profitable operations.”
