New Fungicide Helps Control Mildews and Rot in Ornamentals

Greenspire Global, Inc., which manufactures and markets crop inputs, has developed Procidic, a bactericide and fungicide that provides effective disease control without synthetics.

Procidic is an organic fungicide and bactericide formulated to protect crops during all stages of growth. It works systemically and on contact. Procidic is rapidly absorbed into the plant and then moves toward its apex to allow new tissues to be free of infection while reducing the risk of future growth of bacteria and fungi. It can be used for management of various diseases including powdery mildew, bud rot, root rot, and more.
