Learn Tips On Greenhouse Management During Growers Supply’s Fall Workshops

Growers Supply WorkshopGrowers Supply will be hosting its next two controlled environment agriculture (CEA) Hands-On Workshops Sept. 13-15 at the company’s CEA Learning Center West in Dyersville, IA, and Oct. 12-14 at the CEA Learning Center East in South Windsor, CT.

Both workshops will offer participants an education-filled, three-day schedule where Growers Supply experts and industry specialists educate attendees on the latest trends and innovations in controlled-environment agriculture, such as hydroponics, aquaponics, and microgreen production.

The workshops’ curriculum begins with the basics of controlled environment agriculture, and then shifts toward how attendees can integrate or improve CEA techniques in their operation. Over the three-day workshop, attendees will receive hands-on demonstrations and professional insight on sizing a greenhouse, nutrient management, integrated pest management techniques, the benefits of specific hydroponic systems, producing microgreens, the symbiotic relationship between plants and fish, and much more.

The workshops cost $995 for the full three days, which includes a three-day hotel stay, lunch each day, and a comprehensive course workbook. Upon completion of the workshop, each attendee will receive a $995 product credit that can be used toward the purchase of any controlled environment agriculture product.
