Sun Gro Horticulture Introduces New Perlite-Free Growing Mix

Sun Gro Horticulture has introduced a new perlite-free professional growing mix under its Sunshine brand.

Called Sunshine Mix PF, the new product was created for growers who require a perlite-free mix. The blended mix contains grower-grade Canadian Sphagnum peat moss and naturally aged peatland aggregate. This combination is designed to provide optimum aeration, moisture retention, and porosity for plant roots.

Sunshine Mix PF is ideal for bedding plants, foliage plants, vegetables, and herbs — from 4-inch pots to hanging baskets. It will be available out of the Sun Gro Inkerman plant for Eastern U.S. and Canada.
