Attention: Sustainability Stakeholders
November 28, 2007 OFA is keeping us informed on efforts to establish national standards for sustainable agriculture that will cover food, fiber, floral and energy crops. All stakeholders are invited to help shape this standard under a process governed by American National Standards Institute (ANSI). A teleconference is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 3.
The first in a series of informational conference calls is scheduled for noon Central Standard Time with the following agenda:
12:00-12:15 p.m.–Presentation on the ANSI process, 5 minutes for Q&A
12:15-12:30 p.m.–Presentation on the Draft Standard, 5 minutes for Q&A
12:30-12:45 p.m.–Presentation on the committee and their roles, 5 minutes for Q&A
12:45-1:00 p.m.–General Q&A
