The United Kingdom’s Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) has been constantly monitoring the spread of tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV), which poses a threat to tomato production. As part of the AHDB’s response to the ToBRFV threat, the organization has hosted webinars with UK and international experts to update the industry with the latest information on this virus, alongs with recommendations for growers.

The webinar also includes input from Matthew Everatt of the UK Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs about ToBRFV UK legislation and outbreak management, and an overview of the ToBRFV situation in Europe and Israel from Dave Kaye of RSK-ADAS, the UK’s largest independent agricultural and environmental consultancy service.
