Fire Destroys Greenhouses At Oconomowoc Landscape Supply & Garden Center

OconomowocA fire burned down much of Wisconsin-based Oconomowoc Landscape Supply & Garden Center in the early hours of June 22, the local paper reports. It burned down the greenhouse structures, as well as high-end equipment housed inside, including dump trucks.

The fire caused about $1.2 million in damage, owner Terry Van Lare told a local television station. The property is large enough (58 acres total), however, that the garden retailer was able to re-open June 27.
