Like the HGTV display, these signs at Darwin Perennial days are aimed at the industry. But they do show what each demographic group likes. This can be easily changed to suggestions of projects and plant they'd like, using key words that address their concerns. For example, in a sign portraying young parents, you could emphasize "easy" and "quick" ideas, since time is a big concern.

Most of the time, when you see a bench sign like this one, it names the plants for sale and the price. Name, rank and serial number. This sign, spotted during the Ball Horticulture stop during California Spring Trials, tells customers why this plant would work in their yard.
