Nufarm Americas Inc.:

Mantra 1G and Mantra 2F, imidacloprid insecticide formulations for use in the greenhouse and nursery market, are now registered in the United States. Mantra is a 1 percent granular or 2 lbs. per gallon formulation of imidacloprid for control of piercing and sucking pests such as aphids, fungus gnats, leafminers, mealybugs, whiteflies and grubs.

Maintain Saleability
GSI Horticultural:

Root-Zone is a new type of anti-transpirant that was developed to be drenched into the soil or media. One application keeps most containerized plants saleable for up to three weeks without additional watering. Use Root-Zone for shipping, display, transplanting, extreme weather conditions or water shortages.

Fiber Pots
ITML Horticultural Products Inc.:

Adding to the Kord Fiber Grow line, the new Coco Basket is made from natural coconut fibers woven into round and flat bottom styles and placed into a wire cage of weather-treated coating to enhance your garden or patio settings. Wire cages are stocked in green and black colors. Accessories include the three-strand 15-inch chain hanger and the four-strand 26 ½-inch wire hanger. Hangers are also coated to withstand harsh weather conditions.

Super New Look
Dosmatic U.S.A., Inc.:

The new SuperDos Professional line of non-electrical, water-driven proportional injectors has a new look. Its new body has been redesigned with an enhanced and improved internal mixing chamber and patented one-way chemical seal along with improved engineered polymers for strength and chemical compatibility. The product retains the same dependable and proven motor piston and dosage system. The On/Off feature is standard with an improved remote injection option available.

Track Labor
Innovative Software Solutions:

Picas Software has partnered with Advanced Time Concepts to build the most efficient, full-featured labor tracking system for the greenhouse industry. With the use of rugged, hand-held scanners, the software allows greenhouse operations to gain an understanding of cost per unit and quantity per hour, track employee efficiency, time and attendance, run various reports and upload into almost any payroll package. Picas Labor Tracking Software will increase productivity in all areas of greenhouse labor.

New Customer Service
Pleasant View Gardens:

The Mode Optimization Shipping Program used by Pleasant View Gardens answers growers’ shipping questions, such as which service will get plants to your door the quickest and in the best possible condition, and which will be the most economical for your business. Transportation logistics for all Pleasant View Gardens orders are now determined by the company’s veteran shipping department, and handled with the customers’ needs in mind. Pleasant View takes into consideration each customer’s unique situations when determining the best way to ship their products and optimize each shipment to be the quickest, cheapest and safest mode of delivery so plants arrive in prime condition.

Power Pack
SOLO, Inc.:

The new SOLO 472 ProPower backpack blower delivers nearly 865 cfm output at a maximum speed of less than 2,500 rpm. Powered by a two-stroke SOLO engine with 53cc capacity, it features an electronic ignition and anti-vibration system that reduces vibrations on contact surfaces such as the back or hands. Ideal for any commercial application, the blower is equipped with a newly designed padded backrest that is easily adjustable and ergonomically designed to fit.
