Nexus Supports American Red Cross At OFA

Nexus had a little fun at OFA Short Course this year while raising money for disaster relief for the American Red Cross.
At its booth, Nexus had a spinning wheel that allowed people to not only make American Red Cross donations, but also win a few prizes. Ultimately, Nexus helped raise $1,230 for the American Red Cross.
The grand prize was a trip for two to either California Spring Trials for growers or to the ANLA Management Clinic in Louisville for retailers. That prize was won by Tom Mahoney of Mahoney’s Garden Centers in Massachusetts.
Other growers and retailers went home with prizes ranging from Nexus logo shirts and hats to discounts on their next greenhouse project.
