We produce plant material for other growers through contracts.
What are your biggest concerns operating as a contract grower?
The customer (other grower) might take away a commitment or reduce it substantially because of cut in their own business or because they added sq. footage at their own growing facility and don’t need the contract grower anymore, or as much.
What are a few of the benefits your operation reaps as a contract grower?
Not having to deal with marketing and individual stores. Don’t have to buy shipping carts. Don’t have to deal with trucking. Don’t have to deal with merchandising.
