An Idea For Earth Day

Green Plants for Green Buildings (GPGB), a national non-profit educational group, has challenged the world to make Earth Day 2008 a little “greener.”

GPGB has asked everyone to pick a room or space at home or work, place one plant there every 100 square feet by Earth Day, April 22, and keep them for one month. Then, GPGB asks those participating to describe in writing how the plants impacted people in the select environment.

Observations can be faxed to GPGB at (513) 575-2536 between May 22 and June 1. The top 10 submissions, as decided by the board of directors at GPGB, will run in the group’s national program newsletter.
