BFG Has New Ownership

BFG Supply Co., which private equity company Cardinal previously owned, is now owned by another private equity company: TriCorp Pacific.

TriCorp Pacific made the purchase Wednesday from Cardinal, an Indianapolis-based firm that purchased BFG in 2000.

“They’ve had the investment for 10 years,” says Rob Glockner, president and CEO of BFG Supply. “They had the investment a long time, and it worked out very well for them."

Glockner says the transition from Cardinal to TriCorp Pacific will be a seamless one that involves no structural changes.

“I think TriCorp Pacific is going to pick up where Cardinal left off,” Glockner says. “We’re pretty much the same company, with the same direction and priorities.”
