Bodger Unloads More Seed Varieties
September 2, 2009 Bodger Seeds sold hybrid seed varieties to Benary earlier this year. Now, Bodger has unloaded open-pollinated seed varieties to Dutch breeder Hem Zaden BV.
The purchase includes the following Bodger breeding and specialities:
-Sweet Peas lathyrus series
-Heat Wave and Santa Fe vinca series
-F1 Freesong and F1 Rocket antirrhinum (snapdragon) series
-F1 Dasher and F1 Small World zinnia series
-F1 Mini Spice carnation series
-Sunny and Cutesy cosmos series
-F1 Glory and Dancer pansy series
Hem Zaden will continue Sweet Peas production in the Lompoc, Calif., area, so there are no significant changes in processing and shipping of orders to customers in North America. The other Bodger flower seed varieties will, however, now be processed and shipped from The Netherlands.
