California Counties Quarantined

Last week a federal quarantine order was issued in eight California counties (primarily in the Bay Area) governing the movement of plants, cut flowers and cut foliage. The order also applies to the entire state of Hawaii. The quarantine pest is the Light Brown Apple Moth. Growers in the other 50 California counties are free to ship without further delay or inspection for the moth.
