Colombia Promotes Working Mothers

Colombian flower growers are putting a face on Mother’s Day by sharing stories of women who make up an estimated 60 percent of their workforce. This month, Colombia will export nearly 150 million stems of roses, carnations, alstroemerias, chrysanthemums and pompoms to the Marta BellaUnited States. Assocolflores is the association of Colombian flower exporters representing 75 percent of Colombian floral exports.
