Dickman Farms Earns VeriFlora Certification

Dickman Farms is the first grower in the state of New York to receive the VeriFlora certified sustainably grown designation for growing floral products in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. These floral products include vegetative liners, finished annuals, perennials, herbs, ground covers, hardy mums and hanging baskets.

Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) awarded the certification to Dickman Farms. SCS specializes in third-party certification of environmental performance and sustainability claims. During this process, SCS pays particular attention to the company’s carbon footprint (fertilizer usage, fuel, recycling, etc.). The certification also takes into account how Dickman Farms interacts with its employees and community.
