Meister Executives Honored

In recognition of his leadership as 2008-2009 Chairman of American Business Media (ABM), Meister CEO and Chairman Gary Fitzgerald was presented with a handsome Tiffany tray signed by members of the executive committee and committee chairs at the association’s 2009 annual meeting. Fitzgerald continues to serve as immediate past chairman.

American Business Media, founded in 1906, is the association of business information providers, delivering business intelligence to industry, Madison Avenue, Wall Street and the Beltway.

Another Meister executive, Director of eMedia Jim Sulecki, was among BtoB Media Business magazine’s “Top Innovators in Business Publishing. The magazine recognized Sulecki for catapulting websites like GreenhouseGrower.com to the “cutting edge.” Sulecki was one of three online executives recognized in Media Business’ May 2009 issue.

The award lauded Meister for its "aggressive immersion in Web 2.0 in the past two years," the "modern look" of its websites, an internally built Web content management system, and "a host of Web 2.0 features, including community forums, comments, blogs and video."

Sulecki is a 21-year veteran of Meister Media Worldwide who previously worked in editorial on Greenhouse Grower.

Meister was recognized in the Small division of media companies. Other Online Media winners were The Wall Street Journal Digital Network (General) and Incisive Media (Large).
