Rhapsody Gets Different Ornamental Name

AgraQuest recently partnered with BioWorks to rebrand AgraQuest’s Rhapsody fungicide as Cease for the ornamental and greenhouse markets.

Cease is labeled as both a foliar spray and drench on ornamentals, trees, shrubs, flowering plants and greenhouse crops, and it’s a broad spectrum biofungicide that targets common fungal and bacterial diseases like Botrytis, Pseudomonas, Erwinia, Powdery and Downy Mildew, leaf spot and speck, Anthracnose and rust.

“With Cease, we bring a proven Bacillus-based product to the ornamental and greenhouse markets,” says John Francis, director of marketing and technical services for BioWorks. “Cease will be a strong addition to our plant health and disease control portfolio.”

Rhapsody will still be produced and marketed for the turf industry, where the product is positioned as an ideal fungicide for reducing chemical load as part of an integrated pest management program.
