Dr. Allan Armitage and I will be covering the California Pack Trials once again, beginning up north in Gilroy. In the world of global varieties and new flowering plant genetics, this is the fashion runway and the beginning of the product introduction cycle for next spring’s crops. We will be visiting about 30 flower breeders and plant introducers from all over the world at about 20 locations next week as we travel from Gilroy in the north to Encinitas in the south.

We will be taking our blog postings up a notch with slideshows from each location and video on our new GGTV channels. One is just for Pack Trials coverage and one is a whole new channel for Armitage, who will continue to post videos from his travels and field trials long after Pack Trials.
