Van Wingerden Daughter Dies In Accident
July 28, 2009 Eleven-year-old Ashley Van Wingerden, the oldest daughter of Tidal Creek Nursery owner Jake Van Wingerden, tragically died last Friday in a boating accident. Ashley was a granddaughter of Arie Van Wingerden.
Her funeral is 10 a.m. this Friday at Glasgow Reformed Presbyterian Church in Bear, Del. The church is located at 2880 Summit Bridge Rd. Visitation is from 9-10 a.m., and flowers can be sent to the church. Donations can be made in Ashley’s name to Happy Life Children’s Home here.
