2014 Field Trials Results: Green Leaf Plants (Lancaster, Penn.)

Green Leaf Plants evaluates 800 varieties of perennials, herbs, grasses, shrubs and annuals in its trial gardens. All plants are in the ground and most range from six months to three-years-old.
Trial Manager Melanie Neff says the trials had a late spring that was about two to three weeks behind due to a very cold winter. Summer was also cooler and wetter overall than normal, especially in August. Temperatures barely reached 100°F this year.
